PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN MASTER - THE ARENA ANTWERP
On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, The Arena Antwerp hosted the 27th edition of the Day of Procurement & Supply Chain, a top event organized by Procurement & Supply Chain Masters. More than 500 procurement, logistics and supply chain professionals came together in this unique event venue to delve into current topics, gain inspiration and build their network.
The choice of The Arena Antwerp as the venue for this event was anything but accidental. This special event location - the stadium of Royal Antwerp F.C. - offered not only an impressive setting, but above all a versatility that was ideal for this type of event. Thus, the congress program could be perfectly distributed over different halls and rooms, each with its own dynamics.
The plenary sessions took place on Level 3. This spacious room offered sufficient capacity to comfortably accommodate the large group of participants. The use of a large LED screen and professional decor ensured that speakers such as Dennis Essers (National Bank of Belgium), Michiel Vos (U.S. analyst) and Marc De Vos (Itinera) were able to powerfully deliver their stories. The setting felt simultaneously grand and engaging, which you don't often experience at a traditional event venue rental.
For lunch and networking moments, the audience descended to Level 1, where the wide corridors and open areas were set up as an exhibition floor. Between the booths of partners and suppliers, visitors could engage in informal conversation, discover what's new in the industry and make concrete connections. This interpretation made level 1 the lively heart of the event, ideal for spontaneous meetings.
The breakout sessions continued on level 2. Here, separate rooms were provided for thematic sessions on sustainability, risk management, strategic sourcing and AI in infrastructure projects, among others. This division allowed participants to go deeper into specific topics and exchange experiences in smaller groups, while everything remained centrally organized in the same location. This perfectly demonstrates how The Arena Antwerp is a unique event venue that effortlessly combines plenary, expo and workshops.
Sustainability also received attention. The catering worked with local suppliers and there was an active focus on waste reduction and reusable materials. In this way, the organization showed that you can organize a sustainable event without sacrificing quality or hospitality.
The day ended with a networking drink, again on Level 1, where conversations continued until late. For many participants, it was the opportunity to take home not only knowledge, but also new contacts beyond a business card.
The Day of Procurement & Supply Chain thus proved that strong content can go hand in hand with a venue that inspires. Thanks to the combination of a well thought-out program, different rooms and an event location that offers everything under one roof, this event was an absolute hit. The participants returned home with concrete insights, fresh ideas and a network that only got stronger - exactly what you can expect from a unique event location in Belgium.
